Is translation QA getting your goat?
Webinar: simple, sane approaches to prevent or find and fix problems.
Next week on Thursday afternoon (4 p.m. Central European Time), I’ll be giving a talk on approaches and features for ensuring better technical quality in translation and localization work with memoQ. This won’t be a deeply technical discussion but rather one about possibilities which individuals and small teams can use to reduce stress and complaints and deliver work with greater assurance that nothing bad will boomerang back at them.
We’ll be looking at QA profiles, some terminology features, an integrated solution library and some “insurance” strategies to protect against re-using uninspected content which might not be up to delivery standards.
This is intended for individual translators and reviewers who are committed to equipping themselves for better performance, project managers and support and training staff responsible for project configuration, delivery quality and helping teams achieve their full potential in language service work.
Registration for the session is necessary, but free.
This webinar is made possible by paid subscribers here and on the Translation Tribulations Substack who generously provide the funds for the professional Zoom subscription that I use for such things. You people rock! As does everyone else who shares interesting problems to solve for our common professional good.
